Die Objektive waren wegen ihrer Schärfe, der hohen Auflösung und der weitgehenden Verzeichnungsfreiheit sehr geschätzt. Am spiegellosen Mittelformatsystem wird das "Filetstück" durch den etwas kleineren geforderten Bildkreis genutzt.
The Carl Zeiss V-series for the Hasselblad 6x6 cm medium format system belong to the legendary lenses of the world, as they have been used in the NASA space program. These lenses were appreciated because of their sharpness, high resolution capacity and their freedom of distortion. On the mirrorless medium format system the best part of the image circle is used due to a little bit smaller one.
